Selling Out Fast: City Homes Are Here (For Now)
You know that old saying about the early bird getting the worm? Turns out the same principle applies in buying a home, especially if it’s one of Intracorp’s new City Homes in the hot, hot, hot community of Ballard.
First, a little backstory.
Intracorp recently launched an entire division to design and build a new kind of townhome, called City Homes. We created the first collection in Ravena before moving our sights onto Ballard — an upscale, beachy neighborhood that trend-setters and young families alike have their eyes on. Our first blog had just announced that 901 Ballard and 6405 Ballard were ready to roll when registrations started pouring in.
Hundreds of people signed up for information, wooed by this waterfront town’s rare mix of quiet residential vibes and next-level boutiques & brunch spots. The result? 901 Ballard sold out in three weeks (!!!). And 6405 Ballard — with its lovely finishes and sweet backyards — only has one home remaining (also !!!).
We don’t say all this to honk our own horn but to sound the alarm for anyone still considering a City Home in Ballard. Yes, things are going fasssssst, but hope is on the horizon.
Meet 2206 Ballard.
City Homes at 2206 Ballard are the sequel people have been hoping for, built with the same thoughtfulness and style as its two Ballard predecessors.
The 3-bedroom layouts even have a top-level flex space, perfect for a home office apart from the main level (yay — less muting on Zoom!). The beautifully appointed kitchen has a bonus peninsula with seating, giving you extra counter space and room to entertain pals while you cook (or unpack Uber Eats containers. No judgements).
And a quick word on the rooftop decks — one of the most talked-about features of our two previous Ballard projects: they’re giant. They have enough room for a large sectional and a dining area, making them primo locations for Sunday mimosas or stretching out with the laptop in the summer sun. Heaven.
Right Time, Right Place, Right Homes
The reviews are in on Intracorp’s City Homes, and they’re solid. People love the private outdoor spaces, the storage, the clever floorplans, the fact that you need two hands to count all the rooms — but almost all are spoken for. If 2206 Ballard feels like a fit, reach out to us here. Soon.
